Conceived as a textbook for academic teaching and as a reference text for non-specialists, ‘The Regulation of Health Technologies: a European Perspective’ provides a genuine cross-disciplinary in-depth overview of crucial topics at the intersection of health regulations and biomedical innovation, such as the right to health and health justice, the coordination of liability and risk management, access to human tissues and data, the challenges to intellectual property protection.
